Culture associates slowing down with aging and negative physical outcomes, but the deliberate orientation of a grounded, paced engagement with the world is actually quite enriching. We miss a lot when we're speeding by, and we don't have to stop speeding by entirely, we simply benefit by getting just as good at slowing down and having a rich experience.
Slowing down means the end of rushing. It means activity cycles that honor rest. It often means a slower pace, but that doesn't necessarily diminish our ability to act quickly . It means honoring our authentic energy levels and getting curious about how we feel (and maybe a little less curious about "why"). A slow orientation speaks to a trust in life, a willingness to engage as its happening and with our full attention; not trying to get somwhere else. Somewhere else is coming, and predict as we might, we don't know what it will be. But we will show up. Deliberately. Harnessing our resources. Bringing our whole selves.

If anyone's interested, I'll look for the rest. Especially the part talking about having a safe, comfortable place where you can really relax and attuning to your authentic energy levels.
