Turning our attention inward is a personal experience. What is revealed in any moment is unique to each of us. Getting to know and honor our feelings looks different each time we look, and tuning into our experience, our authentic energy levels, and our nervous systems gives us deep information about who we're becoming
Developing our resources allows us to venture into the wholeness of who we are, including painful and confusing experiences. Parts work calls on the most resourced aspect of ourselves to show up for our most wounded parts. Consistent, gentle inclusion generates space and can let fresh air into otherwise uncomfortable
We need each other. we carry each other's nutrients and can hold each other's stories. We learn from each other and laugh
Take the breath. Inhale. Exhale. This is about the experience of taking the breath, not nodding along with how good it is for us. Think about taking a sip of your beverage, and then, please, take a sip. Notice how vastly different those 2 experiences are. We are in for experience over concept.
You can't think and feel at the same time, though you can go between them very quickly. Language (though awesome) lends abstraction to experience. The body has a language, but it's not verbal. As we describe it, we a step away from it. Sinking into it will settle into vitality that springs forth with inspiration.
Listening and feeling can happen at the same time because listening is a component of feeling. It's an orientation of receptivity to non-pre-conceived information. -
